Interrogations - anno IV - n. 9 - gennaio 1977

As anounced in our last issue (and proved by some few printing changements in this number, too) a new group bas taken charge of editing Interrogations. lt is just a change of managing, due to the fact that we want to avoid the creation of « professionals », among anarchist militants at least, but the content of the review is not going to change. Interrogations will go on treating the same themes that have been characterizing it until now, with the aim of doing it as seriously and with precision as before: we mean to analyse the world in which we live, the new birth and growing oppression and domination ways, as well as the forms of dissent and rebellion opposing them. The aim of our work is also the same as before, and we judge it useful to repeat it here. In fact, it's our opinion that we need to know well what we must dight to change. lt is impossible to fight an evolving, and already modified, world, with the same approach that we had fifty years ago. lt is impossible to fight oppression and exploitation, if oppression and exploitation are no more what we think they are, if we don't know who are the people we have to dight for and with, and the ones we have to fight against. The question must be answered quickly, because things are evolving without waiting for anybody. Quickly and exactly, because the fight is not easy and does not allow for approximations and imprudences. Weil, in two years of existence, we think the review did not make « interrogations » only, but gave some answers as well. Answers which have proved enough to be something more than the simple extension of an ideology accepted a priori. We are thinking of the articles about technobureaucratic nature of some late-capitalistic countries or of the ones which have studied, concretely, the social structure of some self-declaring socialist countries. We are also thinking of the studies about Latin America, which tried to treat knowingly a theme often mythically interpreted, especially among people belonging to the marxist lcft. In this trend, the good contributions of not openly anarchist autors demonstrate that the anarchist idea need not only find help in itself, in order to find the reasons for ist being. On the contrary, the honest confrontation with reality makes our ideas stronger and our activities more efficient. Furthermore, this is a way of building up a real libertarian « culture», able to get out of the distrust and despise ghetto, in which marxist culture monopole succeeded to confine it until now. By this path, that has been opened by the camerades before us, we intend to go on. This is an ambitious task, but a necessary one. 5
