The workers, peasants, and soldiers constitute the main force in the criticism of Lin Piao and Confucius. We actively lead the broad masses of intellectuals to join the workers, peasants, and soldiers in criticizing Lin Piao and Confucius, and to combine the criticism of Lin Piao and Confucius with the acceptance of reeducation. Since the beginning of this year, we members of the workers' propaganda team have walked out of our school with the broad masses of teachers to participate in the practice of the three great revolutionary movements in the factories and the countryside, and to practice running schools with open doors. 'l'he broad masses of teachers criticizing Lin Piao and Confucius together with the workers, peasants, and soldiers, they have further changed the past state of «three detachments» and brought about ideologica! transformation. The problem of the intellectuals is first of ali an ideologica! problem. We have paid attention to carrying out penetrating and carefuJ ideologica! work in the criticism of Lin Piao and Confucius, and helping the broad masses of intellectuals to gradually enhance their politica! awareness. Recently, we have also led the brbad masses of teachers to seriously study the history and absorb the experience of the struggle between Confucianism and Legalism, ·and better serve the practical class struggle. In conjunction with the characteristic of the educational front, the workers' propaganda team has led the teachers to seriously study Chairman Mao's educational line and ideology, study the Legalist philosophy of education, criticize the Confusian philosophy of education and sum up the historical experience of the two-line struggle on the educational front, so that everybody could further understand clearly the relationship between the educational line and the politica! line. · From J?-OW on, we must continue to unite ali those intellectuals who are willing to criticize Lin Piao and Confucius, help them seriously transform their world outlook in the struggle to ctiticize Lin Piao and Confucius, bring the socialist enthusiasm of the broad masses of intellectuals into full play, and better serve the socialist revolution and enterprise building.
