C'è invece un 45 giri edito dalla Elektra (Please Let Me Love You / Don't Be Long) uscito alla fine del 1964 sotto la denominazione The Beeteaters. Ma il maggior numero d'incisioni dell'epoca d'origine si trova in un 33 giri edito dalla Together, Pretlyte (ST-T-1001). (stampato in Italia dalla Phonogram) messo in circolazione soltanto nel luglio del 1969. La formazione è già quella classica: Dave Crosby (R. Gt .. ve.), Jim Mc Guinn (gt., VC). Dopo la morte dei Byrds (primavera 1973), Mc Guinn si esibisce da solo, aiutato dal nuovo complesso The Adventures. (John Guerin o Steve Schaeffer alla batteria, David Vaught al basso. Mike Wofford ai keyboards).
